Can these Armor All interior surface wipes take away what the birds left behind? I don’t want to damage my paint :( What’s the best method for cleaning off bird deposits?

Spray detailer, let it set for a few, wipe with microfiber. You might need to use polish if there’s any marks.

I’d also get rid of the armor all wipes. They dry out interior plastics and the residue they leave just attracts dust.

I use this https://www.eshine.ca/collections/303-products-canada-uv-protection/products/303-aerospace-protectant-w-sprayer-10oz

Also keep a bottle of Qew (quick easy wash) waterless wash just for this reason.

As Fintail says. Use Quick Detailer, or water/shampoo mix or similar, spray on, let dwell, the spray a little more then with a folded over microfibre wipe up to and then as you reach the bird bomb, gently lift the microfibre slightly as you go over, repeat folding the cloth over to a clean surface. Then when it’s off or almost all of, give another squirt of Quick Detailer and buff with a clean cloth or clean face of the cloth you are using.

It’s sounds OTT, and to many it looks OTT, but bare in mind. Birds eat small bits of gravel to make their egg shells harder and some of that gravel and grit naturally is excreted in their faeces.

If it’s on your glass, a foaming cleaner and a new razorblade. If it’s on your paint, I just wash the whole damn car if it’s bad enough

Don’t forget that bird poop is pee and poop in one. It contains acid that can eat at the clear coat and paint. Buzzard poop will certainly eat away at it

Ye’, it’s awful stuff.

That reminds me to get some more anti-static summer wash car shampoo. It seems to keep the birds away from the car. Happy days.

I keep spray detailer and Meguiars spray wash in my trunk at all times, along with a few cloths, just in case.

I’ve eased up on the detail since kiddos - still carry the same stuff, just not out there Cali dusting pollen off every hour like I used to..

I carry a car duster in the trunk too. They are great, but on dark color cars with fresh wax finishes, can bring up fine swirl marks. That can be dealt with via spray wax though.

No kiddos, and I am a little OCD. I leased a car, thinking that might lessen the attachment - nope.
